The Mad Professor Henry
The Mad Professor Henry
Professor Mad Henry was truly mad; insanely mad. Don’t tell him so. His eyes would roll and a gruesome grin would appear each time he saw blood. What was he up to now?
His assistant, Gordo, was watching carefully. He could barely reach the top of the gurney. Gordo was shrinking more each day; his hump was getting bigger and bigger. Professor Mad Henry promised to help him.
He had said to him, “Get me one more body for the experiment Gordo and your hump would be gone”.
Gordo had found this girl walking in the forest. She seemed to be lost. He watched her for quite a while. She was so pretty. He knew she would never look at him without disgust. He didn’t want to scare her but the professor had told him to get one more body or there would be no help for him. He waited. Once he was close enough, he put the burlap sack over her head and dragged her off to the laboratory. She screamed and fought. He didn’t think he’d be able to get her to the professor. He did.
When Professor Mad Henry saw the girl, he patted Gordo’s hump and told him he had done a fine job. He laughed an eerie gruesome laugh as he repeated it: a very fine job. She was the perfect candidate for his experiment. Were it not for Gordo’s fanged tooth he might have smiled.
He felt gloomy watching the professor tie her down. This is the kind of beautiful girl he would want one day. She was twisting and fighting with the professor. He struggled to keep her down. Struggling, she wrestled her arm out from the binding and pushed the professor. He fell. His head hit a rod. It pierced his skull. Blood ran out. He was dying. Gordo panicked. His hump; what would happen with his hump? Before he could notice, the girl was off and running. He started to run after her. She ran faster and screamed louder when she saw him coming towards her. She kept running and running. She couldn’t find her way out. Each time she looked back at him she screamed louder and louder. Finally, he sat down. He could run no more. Then, there was a loud crash. He looked and there she was. She had fallen through the floor.

I love that photo. How did you do that? And that story was gruesome and perfect for Halloween! Nicely done. You have a bit of Edgar Allen Poe in you, Izzy!

Well … I took the photo at an Antique shop I visited during the summer. I didn’t want to take it. My hubby said take a photo. He thought it looked cool and would make a cool shot. I said, “For what?” I had no clue what I would do with the pix. Then, Halloween rolled around and there you have it. hahaha I guess every shot could come in handy I learned that real quick. Also, I should listen to hubby sometimes. ~~~~` : – ) Glad you liked it, Lorna. I wish I could’ve found the shop owner to ask why this was done but there was no one to be found. It’s a small town so shop owners leave their shops and come back whenever. It was a fun shop.
Toodles …. Izzy
