Music Passion – Night
Nightfall ©photography by Isadora
Does anyone remember dancing close to your sweetheart during Saturday night dances to this song???
THE FIVE SATINS – “IN THE STILL OF THE NIGHT” (1956)
In the still of the night
I held you, held you tight
‘Cause I love, love you so
Promise I’ll never let you go
In the still of the night
I remember that night in May
The stars were bright above
I’ll hope and I’ll pray
To keep your precious love
Well, before the light
Hold me again with all of your might
In the still of the night
So, before the light
Hold me again with all of your might
In the still of the night
In the still of the night

This song can be heard in the movie – Dirty Dancing – too.
It was a song that teens used to sing and dance to during
the late 50’s early 60’s. I was too young, of course. No really !!!!
XD I remember my older sister and her friends liked it a lot.

This is definitely a cheek to cheek dance song, one that let’s you get lost in the moment. Great pick Isadora!

Ahhh … I wish I had been allowed to go to dances. I just remember my
