Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Let’s Go Fly a Kite

Despite the distressing cold snowy weather people have had the last couples of weeks in some of the U.S. states,

this past weekend my husband and I went to a relaxing park / marina in Punta Gorda, Florida near my home.

The weather was a warm 68.

It’s a spot where children can play in one area and adults can go fishing, ride a bike or enjoy a relaxing walk on a scenic path.

A young gal was flying this colorful kite in the grassy field directly in front of the bench we were sitting on.

I had been admiring the sailboats swaying on the calm blue water but this kite was a wonderful colorful distraction.

It soared high while fluttering the edges of its’ wings. It was mesmerizing to watch.

A bit of artistic imagination with my photos created this marvelous image

that reminded me of the old fashioned post card you’d pick-up when vacationing.

I thought this photo I snapped was the perfect entry for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge.
