I’m not sure if the roots keep growing. This banyan tree is at the Selby Orchard Gardens. It is very old.
The texture on the bark and roots is smooth. Thanks for popping over.

It’s amazing to see those roots in person. They’re strong and thick.
In B & W they look a bit like fingers coming out of the ground.

Love the creepy crawly roots! Beautiful.

It’s the roots from a Banyan tree. They grow that way naturally in Florida. The color photo doesn’t look so creepy.
