    • This was a car museum that recently closed. I have no idea where they are now. All of the cars were classic American made cars. It was amazing to see all the designs from then to now. They had a car my dad owned when I was growing up. Thanks for enjoying my photos, Gilly.

      • I grew up in a little town in South Dakota that has a Pioneer Auto Museum in it. It has a number of historic cars.. one of Elivis’s caddies and other vintage cars. If you ever go though, bet you’d enjoy it. On Interstate 90 in South Dakota. 250 miles east of Mount Rushmore and 50 miles east of Wall Drug and the Badlands. There is also an 1850’s town that is very interesting. It is the area where Dances with Wolves was shot.

    • Are you referring to the copper sculpture? If yes, the artist is Dutch American Artist Hans Van de Bovenkamp. He was born in 1938. The name of the sculpture is Oracle. Hope this helps. Thank you for viewing my photographs and commenting.

        • These installation were huge. They were all 6′ or more. It was a temporary three month installation during an Art Festival in Sarasota. Sarasota is home of the Ringling Museum and Ringling School of art and lets not forget the circus. His home is a favorite place for my hubby and I to visit. A great many event, concerts etc. take place on the balcony of their home. My hubby is a copper sculptor of whimsical items which fit his personality. I’m sure not of the level of your husband. We adore the arts of every genre. It’s been a pleasure to meet you through the photo challenge. Isadora 😎

          • Thanks, Isadora. My husband worked in every material: metal fabrication, casting, clay, glass, wood and paper. I was a silversmith, working on a smaller sacale, and also a papermaker. Art pretty much ruled our world for the 15 years we were together before his death.

            • Well … what a small world …!!! I was a silversmith for 28 years. I retired in 2007. My hubby used to make my mirrors for my display. Customers began to purchase them creating another market for us. I did art shows and had at one time 24 galleries with my jewelry. Yes, indeed, a pleasure to meet a fellow artisan. Sorry for your loss. I’m sure you have a great many memories of your times together. Blessings to you … 🙏🏻

                • If you did shows in New York, Long Island or Florida we may have crossed paths.
I had a booth with my jewelry and hubby had a booth with his whismsea’s.
I enjoyed it but am much happier being retired. My hubby does 3 shows all of them
in our town and because he’s on their committees. Small world this world wide web.
Have a peacefully relaxing weekend …
