Sarasota Jungle Gardens is a fun place to take visitors when near Sarasota, Florida. The various birds and animals are ready to entertain. There are lectures to help youngsters learn about their habitat and history. The flamingos food is sold for visitors to feed the birds and flamingos up close.

The Jungle Garden sells the proper food for the flamingos. You can purchase the little bags at their shop. There are vending machines with food near the animals that can be fed. But, coins are needed and larger hands. LOLOL 😂

I’m intrigued, as I wouldn’t like to feed the ones near me in Portugal. Their diet looks horrid!!!

The food we purchased didn’t say what it was. I thought they ate lots o shrimp in order to get their beautifuk colors. I guess Google will be the best way to find out. Happy hunting … 😎

I just think Flamingos are so beautiful — from palest pink to deepest coral. 😀

It’s interesting to observe them. They move slowly unless frightened. They were very hungry that day. They were getting ready to mate. LOL I guess they need nourishment for energy. It was FUN !!!
