I found that the way the flames were dancing with the wind was fascinating.
The branch was in some photos and not in others as the branch was moving with the wind too.
It’s a great spot to wait for your table at this restaurant.
The glass in the 2nd photo is the restaurant. It has black window. You can’t see in but once inside
you can see out. If you look at the photo you can see me taking the photographs.
Have a great week …
Issy 😎

Isadora – I like how the three photos here have so many different variables –
in the first shot we have the strong line from the bowl holding the rocks, which are super clear so we get the texture – and then the fire – (oh and your watermark on the line of the bowl is nice) – also in that first one – the green branch is in sync with the flame (or something about it is striking)
–
the second image – with the water fountain sides – had a completely different vibe – yet was cohesive with the post
and the third offered a nice closing shot with the soft focus

WOW …. thanks for your wonderful critique. I was fascinated by the fire in this cauldron. I live in Florida. It’s always hot. But, in the winter months it can get to 45 degrees. This restaurant is very, very popular. Often, I wonder why since it’s a bit pricey. It’s a special occasion restaurant for us – ie: birthdays, anniversary, etc. It was cold on this particular evening. While waiting for our table, I snapped these pics quickly as there were many people who were coming towards the empty seats. I ‘m glad you enjoyed them so much to leave an incredible admiring comment. Isadora 😎

I used to live in Florida a few times and so I know the chilly nights you are talking about.
I also know how enjoyable the outdoor fires can be.
About ten years ago we had a b-day party for our son at a place that had two huge outdoor firepits- and twice we were out there near them – careful of course – but later when i looked at the 100+ pictures we took – not one of the photos had the cool fires that were so charming that night. We had the food, the kids and so much – but had wished we got the fire.
anyhow, how nice you able to use the wait time to snap a few images –
🙂

Ahhhh … a former Floridian. Yes, I love fire pits. My friends lives in a wooded area. Every year in Decmber she has a gathering of artists and has a big fire in her red brick homemade fire pit. It helps bring the feeling of winter to life. I used to be from New York. I don’t like harsh winters but in December I do enjoy it here. Thanks … 😎

thanks for the reply – and December in Florida is one of my favorite times there – actually all winter long.
