Lens Artist Photo Challenge – Change
The difference between a flower, and a weed is a judgement©anonymous
Change is the act or instance of becoming something different,
according to the dictionary.
Because of my orchid growing hobby, I began taking photos of flowers. I was always fascinated when they began to dry and wilt. I noticed changes in colors and shapes.
A beautiful bouquet of the same flowers did not fade or wilt at the same time nor
did the colors in the wilted flowers have the same colors. It was an unexpected experiment in the process of life waning in each one. It became a fascination I still enjoy capturing in photos.
Let’s talk about color:
Green is the color of harmony, health, and growth.
It revitalizes our bodies and minds. It balances our emotions.
It gives us hope and prosperity.
Purple is the color os spirituality and imagination.
It inspires our innermost thoughts, enlightening wisdom.
It’s associated with royalty and luxury.
Pink is the color of love and compassion.
It’s kind and full of sympathy, joy, warm our spirit and calm.
Pink is an intuitive feminine color bursting with romance.
~
Orange is the color of enthusiasm and emotion.
It exudes warmth and joy and is a fun color.
Orange is uplifting which provides positive creativity.
Yellow is the color of happiness and optimism.
It’s cheerful and energetic
while inspiring enthusiasm and confidence.
White is the true balance of color.
It’s associated with simplicity and perfection.
It creates hope and clarity by refreshing and purifying
the body and mind. The color of innocence.

What a unique look at “change”. I am a garden lover as well and love the way you brought color in to explain the feelings. Lovely photos too. Donna

Well, you certainly pulled that off. I try to do that too. It is hard when what often comes to mind is…what is right in front of you.

A bit late but I always try to respond to all of my comments.
Thank you, Rupali. I enjoyed photographing flowers as they
wilt because of the changes that happen in the colors.
