The photograph of the water above was an afterthought shot. I had been watching the changes in the color of the ocean water. It was mesmerizing, almost meditative. As I walked away, I thought let me snap this motion. I’m glad I made that last minute decision.

I was mesmerized by the various blue colors that appeared as the water rotated.
It was beautiful. Thank you for enjoying my photos.

Such a creative take on the challenge Isadora. The change in color from the ships draft was fantastic. Nothing else needed but the color of water to see the “motion”. But I loved how you showed motion with your fingers. Great interpretations. Donna

Awww … those cute lil fingers are my grandsons. We were at a marina sanctuary in Sarasota, Fla.
The pool is a stingray petting pool. As the stingrays swim by, you get to touch them. I didn’t attempt to do it. My grandson was 8 and had no fear. The darkisk gret colot is the stingray swimming passed his fingers. I’m happy you liked it. Thank you, Donna. I appreciate your wonderful comment.

Lovely photos of the challenge and great interpretation, Izzy. Hope you enjoyed a good time on the boat out at sea. Looks like blue waters, and I’m guessing it was a lovely sunny day. Waterfalls are magnificent and glad you got to see that one. Looks like a peaceful place there. Hope you are doing well 🙂

Hi Mabel,
Yes, I always enjoy being out on the ocean. When the waters are as blue as the ones in the photographs, the mind seems paralyzed by it’s beauty. This was a fun challenge this week. I have many, many photographs of water. I think I’m drawn to water because Im a Cancer (astrological water sign). My summer has been going well. I hope you’ve had an oppotunity to enjoy your summer too. Thank you for coming by and leaving your lovely comment.

Yes, maybe you are drawn to water because you are a Cancer – and it’s natural for you to be around water. May you get to take more photos of water again. It is winter here, almost done with winter and l’m looking forward to Spring. Take care ❤

Ha! I love the ‘jumper’! But that blue ocean, WOW! Excellent.

Thanks, John. The jumper was phenominal to see in person. It’s a long way down the cliff.
He told everyone to get the cameras ready when he waves his hands. Then, down he came.
You can’t be afraid of heights. LOL
The blue waters are from St. Thomas. It’s a beautiful turquoise blue that shimmers in the sun.

Those lil fingers are my grandsons. It was a stingray petting pool.
Kids had to hold their hands under water and wait for the stingrays to swim by,
They feel surface rough to the touch. This was at the Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota, Fl.

I always think of water when moiton or movement are in a photograph.
These photographs came to mind the minute I saw the challenge this week.
I’m pleased, Tina, that you enjoyed my choices.
