Thank you very much. I enjoyed photographing them. I love orchids and grow them as a hobby.
Ironically, when I buy them, I never know what color they’re going to be. So far, they’ve all turned
out to be in the pruple family. Glad you enjoyed my post. I appreciate your visiting and commenting.

I’ve never had much luck with keeping orchids alive, but I absolutely adore looking at them – they’re such stunning flowers. The pinks and purples are certainly magnificent. Thank you for sharing your photos 🙂

Orchids are much easier to grow then people think. Less is more should be the watering motto. They have wet feet(roots). And, fertilize. As in: fertilize weakly weekly. Give it snother try. 😁
Thanks again … Isadora 😎

Hi Sylvia,
The 1st photograph I took at a local orchid show that’s held in my town every March.
The other 2 photographs are from blooms I had in early Spring and late summer.
This year my orchids haven’t been blooming. I think the odd temperatures and
over abundance of rain has stifled flowering. Orchids don’t like to have wet feet (roots).
Hopefully, I’ll be able to photograph more at the orchid show again this year.
I’m happy you’ve enjoyed them. I didn’t alter them in anyway. I was fortunate to have them
look so pretty. Thank you ….

Dear Issy I hope that Al is recovering well.

I appreciate your asking about Al’s recovery. He’s doing well. He’s very quick
at recovering from illnesses and injuries. The best part is that he didn’t have permanent
injuries or loss of his life. The police at the scene said he was quite fortunate. Many don’t
walk away from a car wreck such as his was. Perhaps, another one of his 9 lives was used
that day. He has had his share of life threatening events. Gilly, you are so sweet for asking.
Thank you, dear friend.
Namaste,
Issy 😎
