That first photo, especially, is magic. Is the Ringling Museum associated with the Ringling Bros. Circus?

I’m happy you found the photograph to be magical. I think so too, Judy. Yes, the John & Mabel Ringling museume is frpm the circus family. It was their winter home when the northern temps were blustery. There are several buildings including an miniature exhibit of circus life. Their home called the Ca D’ Zan is another museums. There is a Ringling School of At & Design that many of the Disney cartoonists in the past and presently came from. It’s a fascinating place to visit in Sarasota, Florida. We go several time a year since they host outdoor jazz music events, morning yoga, garden walks and invited guest speakers. If you’re ever near the museum make it a must see.
Have a safe weekend … Isadora 😎

Thanks, Isadora. Checking out the link now. Circuses and carnivals were rare imported magic in the tiny prairie town where I grew up!!!

I wrote a post back in 2011 about the circus. It seems that the small towns adored the arrival of the animals since many didn’t have a zoo to see them live. I think the history of the circus is fascinating. Actually, they were 7 brothers. Enjoy browsing the site. 😊
