Relaxing with Books

I loved the B & W photograph of the library below but decided to add a color photograph too.
Cruises have sea days. The ship navigates from an island it’s just left to another which could take 2 days.
It’s a good time to enjoy gambling, a movie, swimming, a spa treatment or relax with a book in the library.
Reading a book can make you sleepy. Perhaps, the sea air or the slight movement of the ship lulled her to sleep.

ALmost all of the cruise ships have a library, Gilly. Their books are fairly up to date and include every subject. However, you can bring a kindle or electronic reader and it will work on-board too. Hope you have an opportunity to enjoy a book while on the high seas. Have a great weekend …

Lovely selection of shots, Isadora. That’s how life is, sometimes you’re just tired. Is this on a cruise? It looks like many books to choose from 🙂

Hi Mabel,
Yes, it’s from a cruise we took to the Panama Canal. It was 14 days. There were
a few seas days that afforded a variety of activities for the passengers.
I find the salty sea air very relaxing and the motion of the ship is like lying in a hammock.
